Owaisi challenges Rahul Gandhi to contest elections from Hyderabad IG News

All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi has challenged former Congress President Rahul Gandhi to contest elections from Hyderabad. Presently Owaisi is MP from this seat. AIMIM chief has said that Rahul Gandhi talks big. He is challenged to leave Wayanad and come to Hyderabad and compete.

Owaisi said, “Many Congress people will come. I will tell the Congress leaders that this time they should contest from Hyderabad and not from Wayanad. I am challenging, leave Wayanad and come to Hyderabad. We will try our hands twice. We will try our claws, come.”

Owaisi challenged Rahul Gandhi and said, “Where do you go to Wayanad dear, come here. Why do you only talk big? Hey, come on the ground and let’s fight. It will be fun to compete with the person wearing Sherwani and black cap. Congress people will talk a lot. I am ready. But I also appeal to the people of Telangana to remember that the looting and extinction of innocent people in Hyderabad is the contribution of Congress.”

Asududdin Owaisi further said that it was the Congress when the Babri structure in Ayodhya was demolished. The Secretariat mosque was also demolished during the Congress government. After this the mosque could not be built in Ayodhya. Tell me Congressmen, was Narasimha Rao your father or not?

On voting against the Women’s Reservation Bill in the Lok Sabha, Owaisi said, “BJP people tell us that two AIMIM MPs voted against the Women’s Reservation Bill in Parliament. I and Imtiaz Jalil shook the entire Parliament. 450 votes were cast in favor of women’s reservation and 2 votes were cast against it. We are not people who walk with the wind. We are going to walk against the wind.”

Let us tell you that in the Lok Sabha elections of the year 2019, Rahul Gandhi had contested from the traditional Congress seat Amethi as well as from Kerala’s Muslim dominated seat Wayanad. He had to face defeat in Amethi. Had registered victory in Wayanad. Assembly elections are to be held in Telangana in the next 2 months. In such a situation, all the parties are trying their best. Lok Sabha elections are to be held in 2024. In such a situation, in view of these two elections, a war of words is going on between the leaders.
