Peaceful protests are everyone’s right, and rioters will be dealt with according to the law: Prime Minister Kakar
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, who is conducting ongoing business, stressed that peaceful protests are everyone’s right, but rioters will be dealt with according to the law.
At Monday’s press conference, he said that the conduct of the elections was successful despite the unusual conditions. “There may be some anomalies in the election, but there is a forum for redressal of grievances,” he added.
The Prime Minister stated that strict action would be taken against those found involved in violent protests. “The talk of Pakistan becoming Dhaka is baseless. This is an environment of blame leveling politics. Neither government allows anarchy nor will we allow it,” he asserted.
He stated that despite threats of terrorism, the elections were held peacefully. “The mandate will soon pass to the new government,” he declared.
