Oil traders declare strike on July 5

Petroleum Traders Association chairman Abdul Sami Khan said a 0.5% turnover tax was levied on petroleum products and there were concerns about the impact of the tax on the petroleum pump business.

Petroleum Traders Association chairman Abdul Sami Khan told a press conference in Karachi that the government does not know what it is doing and is taxing everything.

Abdul Sami Khan said that there was a request to resolve this issue by repealing this fiscal provision. The Prime Minister, Petroleum Minister, Finance Minister withdrew the advance VAT ruling.
