Police arrest man in Toronto in connection with Kingston, Ontario double murder – Kingston IG News

An investigation into a double homicide in Kingston, Ont. has resulted in an arrest and a charge of first-degree murder.

Police say Gregory Anthony Beasley was arrested in connection with the deaths of Nico Soublier of Ottawa and Carl Allen Delphine.

The men were found dead in a parking lot on Sydenham Road near Highway 401 on October 16, 2021.

The arrest was made in Toronto on August 17, police say.

Kingston Police say the investigation was conducted with the assistance of the London Police Service and Durham Regional Police Service, the Ontario Provincial Police and the Toronto Police Service.

During the arrest, Beasley was found to be in possession of a firearm resulting in additional charges.

He has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, possession of a firearm when prohibited, use of a firearm to commit a felony offense and possession of a prohibited firearm without a license or registration certificate.

More allegations are likely to come up as the investigation continues.
