Praveshotsavam 2022 organized by Malayali Association, Malayalam Mission to promote the language IG News

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Praveshotsavam 2022 was organized at St. Joseph’s Co-Ed School by United Malayali Association and Malayalam Mission. Malayalam Mission is a project started by the Government of Kerala to provide opportunity to learn Malayalam across the world.

It is an initiative of the Government of Kerala to foster the creative talents of children from non-resident Malayalam speaking communities and develop a passion for the language.

United Malayalee Association in collaboration with Malayalam Mission has taken the initiative of taking Malayalam classes for kids and adults in online and offline mode. Bhopal alone has more than 350 registered students. Plans are underway to conduct classes in various cities of MP having Malayalam speaking communities.

Malayalam poet and litterateur Murukan Katakada, Director of Malayalam Mission, reached Bhopal to participate as the chief guest in the programme.

The Kerala government has made it mandatory to know Malayalam language for getting government jobs.

The United Malayalees Association conducts Malayalam language classes in collaboration with the Malayalam Mission, which is under the Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Kerala.
