Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court rejected the request of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to cancel Imran Khan’s bail in the prohibited funding case.

The Islamabad High Court gave a safe verdict on Imran Khan’s bail application in the prohibited funding case. The court also rejected Tariq Shafi’s bail application.

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani and Justice Tariq Jahangiri of the Islamabad High Court heard the request of FIA for canceling the bail of PTI Chairman Imran Khan in the prohibited funding case, in which FIA’s lawyer and special prosecutor Raja Rizwan appeared in the court. Appeared.

Lawyer FIA said that Imran Khan used charity money for political purposes, it is a crime to send charity money through someone else’s foreign account. Justice Kayani said that this is a bailable offence, the punishment is two years and changing the name of a bank account is not a crime.

Later, the court completed the hearing on the case and reserved its decision on Imran Khan’s bail cancellation request.
