The arrested accused were identified as Umar and Jaha Nazeeb. The police claimed that the detained persons told that Ali Bilal’s death was due to an accident, the incident took place on the Fortress Stadium Bridge.
Zul Shah got out of the police car and ran towards the Fortress bridge, then the Vigo collided with the road. Injured Zal Shah was taken to CMH hospital after the Vigo was dropped. After that he was taken to Services Hospital where he died.
The police have taken the accused into custody and started further investigation.
It should be noted that three days ago a PTI worker was allegedly killed by police violence, the post-mortem report proved that the worker was tortured. The report stated that when the worker was brought to the hospital, he had died while his head had a deep injury and a part of the skull was badly affected, besides there were signs of severe torture on the delicate parts of the body.
