A 27-year-old young woman made such an explosive allegation. The residents of the area are shaking after hearing about the incident.
In the statement given to the police, the victim said that since June 2019, her in-laws have been torturing her physically and mentally. They even forcefully collected her menstrual blood for Aghari Puja during Ganesh Puja last year. All these incidents took place at the young lady’s in-laws’ house in Beed district. But because of the fear of beating, he practically kept his mouth shut and endured everything. However, after returning to her father’s house in Pune, she decided to file a complaint against her husband and in-laws. Similarly, he filed a written complaint at the police station last Tuesday.

After the complaint of the young woman, the police started investigating the incident. A case has been registered against the seven accused under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. However, the National Commission for Women has spoken about the whole issue. Rupali Chakankar, chairperson of the Maharashtra Women’s Commission, said that the accused used to forcefully collect menstrual blood from the victim and sell it for 50,000 rupees for Aghari Puja. Very shameful incident. It is surprising to think that even in a developed city like Pune, women have to suffer such a situation. He raised questions about the safety of women. He also said that strict action will be taken against the accused.
