Raju Sahani, arrested in Sanmarg chit fund case, denied bail IG News

Asansol: Halishahar municipality chairman and Trinamool Congress leader Raju Sahani was not granted bail in the Burdwan Sanmarg chit fund case on Thursday. CGM Tarunkanti Mandal of Asansol District Court refused Raju Sahani’s bail and ordered him to be kept in jail after long question and answer by the lawyers of both sides. The CGM has ordered that the next hearing of this case will be held on October 15. After former education minister Partha Chattopadhyay, who was caught in the corruption case in the education sector, Anubrata Mandal, who was caught in the cow smuggling case, the Chairman of Halishahar Municipality will also spend Durga Puja in jail.
