On Wednesday, online ticketing site BookMyShow announced the cancellation of Canadian singer Shubneet Singh’s India tour. BookMyShow has started refunding the ticket amount of all customers. Now Shubh’s show will not happen in Mumbai.
Earlier, Shubneet had shared an incorrect map of India on her Instagram story. After this he was embroiled in controversies. Along with this map he had given the caption ‘Pray for Punjab’. Shubhneet Singh, who is surrounded by criticism, has been unfollowed by cricketer Virat Kohli on Instagram. Shubh’s posters have also been torn in Mumbai. Electronics brand BOAT has withdrawn its sponsorship of his India tour. After Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul have also unfollowed him.
A concert of rapper Shubh alias Shubhneet Singh was to be held in Mumbai. The show was scheduled to be held on the Cordelia Cruise. Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha had also removed the poster of the singer. The Morcha had demanded the strictest action against pro-Khalistan singer Shubneet Singh and cancellation of all his performances.
