New Delhi: British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is on a three-day visit to India. He has come to participate in the two-day G20 summit organized in Delhi. G20 summit is being organized in Delhi on 9 and 10 September. Britain PM Sunak had come to Delhi yesterday i.e. on the evening of 8th September. During this, while talking to a media agency on Friday, he said that he feels proud to be a Hindu. After he said this, this statement is now being discussed a lot. Rishi Sunak said that hopefully he can visit the temple while he is in Delhi for the G20.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak reached India on Friday to participate in the G20 Summit. Speaking to ANI on his connection with Hinduism, he said, ‘I am proud to be a Hindu and I was brought up that way. That’s how I am Hopefully I can visit a temple during my stay here for the next few days.

I will make up for Janmashtami by going to the temple
He said, ‘Raksha Bandhan has just passed, so I have Rakhis received from my sister and cousins. I didn’t have time to celebrate Janmashtami properly the other day, but hopefully I can make up for it if we go to the temple this time.

He said that this is something that is important to me. I think faith is something that helps every person who has faith in their life, especially when you have a stressful job like me. Faith gives you resilience, strength and it is essential.

Have great respect for PM Modi: Sunak
On relations with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said that I have a lot of respect for PM Modi and he also has a lot of affection towards me. We are working very hard on our shared ambition to deliver an ambitious and comprehensive trade deal between India and the United Kingdom, because we both think it would be a good thing and we both need to ensure it happens.

Regarding the G20, Sunak said that at forums like this, I am very keen to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi in ensuring that this G20 is a great success for India.
