Seven people were killed and 40 injured in a bomb blast outside a mosque in the Afghan capital, Kabul, on Friday. The explosion happened immediately after Friday prayers.
The blast occurred when worshipers were leaving the Wazir Akbar Khan Mosque in the capital Kabul after Friday prayers. According to the initial reports, a local hospital informed that 14 people injured in the explosion were brought to the hospital.
Earlier NATO and foreign embassies were in this area. It was known as the most secure area of the capital.
The information of this explosion has been confirmed by the Kabul Police. Police spokesman Khalid Zardan said, ‘When people were coming out of the mosque after prayers, the explosion took place. All the casualties are civilians.”
