News Daily Digital Desk: A patient died in the middle of the way due to the shouting of the ambulance drivers. 3 people have already been arrested in this incident in Murshidabad’s Salar. All three are ambulance drivers by profession. State Police Minister and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has assured legal action against the rest. The police were beaten up in the Salar incident. The chief minister claimed that there is incitement of the opposition behind the brutal beating of the uniformed.
From the Navanna meeting, the Chief Minister said, “BJP, CPM and Congress leaders are asking the police to beat them from every meeting, rally. We have clippings of these. I will ask to take strict action against those who are beating the police. Beating the police with words. What will the police do?” With his further addition, there is a dispute between two private ambulances in Salar. Who will go to which ambulance is a matter of the patient party. I heard that some of them were beating a driver. The police went and saved him. In this case, three people have been arrested. Strict action will be taken against the rest.”

It is known that the three arrested are ambulance drivers. Names are Arif Sheikh, Sunny Sheikh and Ziarul Sheikh. They were named in the FIR. The houses of all three drivers are in Salar village of Salar Thana area. Police are searching for others. Incidentally, Chandtara Bibi was suffering from kidney disease for almost two years. At around eleven o’clock on Monday night, the family members came to Salar to hire an ambulance to take the old lady to Kolkata. As to who will take the patient to Calcutta, there is a lot of chatter. When the family members of the deceased left for Kolkata with an ambulance of their choice, other ambulance drivers allegedly blocked their vehicle. With this, trouble started between the two sides on the road. There are also allegations of vandalism in ambulances. Later, when the old woman died, the family approached the police.
