Sangamner, Leading News Service: Deputy Superintendent of Police Rahul Madane’s team of three members of a gang of knife-wielding looters in Sangamner town and rural areas has snarled them. Around 2 lakh 78 thousand valuables including eight two-wheelers have been seized from them.
There were incidents of looting and theft of motorcycles in rural areas of Sangamner city and taluka. A big challenge was faced by the police to find the thieves in this incident. Superintendent of Police Manoj Patil had given instructions to Deputy Superintendent of Police of Sangamner Sub Division Rahul Madane to search for the criminals. no Annasaheb Dater, Furkan Shaikh, P.O. Co. A team of Amrit Adhaav, Subhash Bodkhe, Pramod Gadekar, Ganesh Shinde was formed and given instructions to search for the accused in the crime.
In Nimbale Chauphuli, Dhananjay Babasaheb Varpe (Rest. Rahimpur), Prabhakar Chandu Awad (Rest. Waghapur) and Sagar Vitthal Kale (Paregaon Khurd) were beaten up and stolen mobile phones, cash and documents near Pokhari Haveli. A case has been registered in this regard in the taluka police. Also, when Amol Gavram Kotkar (Pimple) was sleeping near Jambhulwadi Fata, he was beaten and robbed of his mobile phone, cash and documents. A case has been registered with the Taluka Police in this regard as well. After investigating these crimes, Kalim Akbar Pathan (age 20), Salim Akbar Pathan (age 22, both of Kolhewadi Road, Sangamner) and Junaid Yunus Sheikh (age 23, of Jamjam Colony, Sangamner) have been detained and arrested. Motorcycles, knives, stolen mobile phones have been recovered from them.
Other crimes will be solved by the accused
All the three accused who were arrested by the police are criminals and dozens of cases have been registered against them in Sangamner city, Sangamner taluka and Shirdi police. Talking to reporters, Deputy Superintendent of Police Rahul Madane informed that there is still a possibility of many crimes being solved by them.
