Sangrur: Heatstroke kills 4th class student – News18 Punjab

Sangrur: The scorching heat is proving deadly across northern India. A 4th class student died due to heat in Punjab. According to sources, Mahtpreet Singh, son of Gurtej Singh, a fourth class student of Dhulat village, Logowal in Sangrur district had contracted fever due to heat. Last night his condition worsened. Family members rushed Mahikpreet Singh to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. It is to be mentioned that Mahikpreet was studying in 4th class in the government school of village Patti Jaid.

On this occasion Shiromani Akal President Sukhbir Badal tweeted that Mahikpreet Singh, a fourth class student of Patti Jaid Government School in Sangrur district, succumbed to heat stroke and later succumbed to his injuries.
