Aslan, who works at a mobile shop on Jail Road, is absconding after Jitendra’s arrest.
Indore’s Raoji Bazar police will soon increase the number of accused in the case of recovery of 642 mobile phones. Tinku alias Mohit and Varun, arrested in the case, have confessed the names of other associates during remand. In this, the name of Aslan, who worked at a mobile shop on Jail Road, has also appeared.
Aslan is absconding after the arrest of mobile racket kingpin Jitendra Vaswani. Its location has just been found in Rajasthan. The crime branch is also actively searching for Shubham, who recovered the mobile from Jitendra’s flat. About half a dozen accused are to be arrested in this case.
Additional DCP Rajesh Dandotia’s team, while carrying forward the investigation of 642 mobile, has arrested two main kingpins Johnny alias Jitendra Vaswani and his associate Tinku alias Mohit and Varun along with another associate Jeetu. Aslan Sheikh and Shubham are yet to be arrested in this case. During the interrogation of the crime branch, Tinku had revealed the name of Aslan. He also works as an informant for the police.
Aslan, who works at a mobile shop on Jail Road, gives Truck Cutting’s mobile to Tinku. Which Tinku used to give to businessman Johnny to dispose of. The crime branch had raided to catch Aslan. But he got the information. After this he fled to Rajasthan. After reaching here he switched off his mobile.
Kanjar of Dewas caught, word reached officers
It has also come to light that Aslan is associated with Crime Branch policemen. According to the information, a few days ago, with his help, the Crime Branch constable had caught Ankush Hada, a member of the Kanjar gang of Dewas. The crime branch seized 36 mobile phones and cars from him. But Ankush Hada was left out. When this news reached the Crime Branch officers, they started an investigation into this matter involving some policemen.
Search for Shubham who caught the mobile
Raoji Bazar police took Shubham and raided Johnny’s place. It was Shubham who told the whereabouts of Johnny. But before Shubham arrived, Johnny informed his brother Prince about Shubham’s arrest. After this the Prince along with one of his companions went to dispose of the goods. When the crime branch entered, the soldiers ran after Prince and his companion. Meanwhile, seeing the opportunity, Shubham ran away. Crime branch is busy in getting information about Shubham. More information can be obtained from that.
Mumbai Police can interrogate
Indore Crime Branch had seized most of the goods from Johnny’s house, mostly from Mumbai. When the Crime Branch collected information in this case, it talked to the Mumbai Police. Mumbai Police may come to Indore to interrogate Johnny regarding the mobile. Tinku was presented in the court on Monday. Here Johnny is on remand till 27th September.
