New Delhi, September 25 (Language) A court on Monday framed charges against the accused youth in the case of murder of a 16-year-old girl by publicly stabbing her with a knife multiple times and crushing her head on May 28 in Shahbad Dairy area of the national capital. Did it.
Additional Sessions Judge Richa Gusain Solanki framed charges against accused Sahil under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), besides various provisions of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and the Arms Act.
The special court under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act listed the case on November 28 for the prosecution to file evidence. Special Public Prosecutor Atul Srivastava said there was enough evidence to frame charges against the accused, including CCTV camera footage and recovery of the weapon alleged to have been used in the crime.
