The Bombay High Court has expressed concern over BJP leader Kirit Somaiya sharing a copy of the judgment shortly after the judge pronounced the judgment, the court has taken the matter seriously. The Bombay High Court has asked the District Judge to look into the matter. The Bombay High Court asked the District Judge to see from where Kirit Somaiya got the copy of the order within just two hours of the pronouncement of the judgement. While the certified copy of the verdict was received by the accused only after four days. The High Court will next hear the matter on April 24.
On the complaint of the Registrar of Companies, the Pune court had given its verdict on April 1, 2022, between 5 pm and 5.30 pm. Kirit Soumeya had tweeted the copy of the order at 7.30 pm. At the same time, the accused were able to get the copy of the judgment on 5 April.
Bombay High Court’s Justice Revati Mohite and Sharmila Deshmukh’s bench said that from where Kirit Somaiya got the copy of the court’s decision at the speed of lightning, it is a matter of concern. The High Court has asked the Principal District Judge as to how Somaiya even got the copy of the FIR registered in Hasan Mushrif’s case before the Magistrate. The High Court said that after summoning the investigating officer of the case, questions should be asked to him as to how this happened? The bench, while granting relief to Mushrif in the case registered in Kolhapur on February 23, ordered the police not to take any coercive action against him.

NCP leader Hasan Mushrif was accused of extorting money from people in 2012. In 2012, by giving advertisements, Rs 10,000 was collected from many people as share capital. People were promised 5 kg of sugar every month along with many other benefits. In this case, a complaint was lodged on behalf of a person named Vivek Kulkarni. Kulkarni alleges that no share certificates were issued to the people from whom the money was taken.
