News Daily Digital Desk: Sushant Singh Rajput died almost three years ago. That incident still brings tears to Smriti Irani’s eyes. Nilesh Mishra recalled in ‘The Slow Interview’ that he told Sushant not to finish himself.
Smriti said that she saw Sushant, Amit Sadh while shooting the serial. Once Efi called Sushant along with Shekhar Kapur on the stage. Smriti got the news of the actor’s death during a video conference. He stopped the conference. Smriti said that he once told Sushant, “Brother, don’t kill yourself.” But that’s what happened. The Union Minister for Women and Child Welfare wept while speaking the words.

Smriti was worried about Amit Sadh after Sushant’s death. He used to call Amit in between thousands of work. So that two things can be said. The Union Minister said that a famous actress also called him after about seventeen years to share the stress. That too at five thirty in the morning.
Smriti told many things about her personal life in this interview. The Union Minister borrowed Rs 1 lakh from his father when he went to the Miss India pageant. After becoming Miss India, she gave the prize she got to her father to fill the sum of 60,000 rupees. The condition was that if he did not pay the full amount on time, he would have to marry the man of his father’s choice. Smriti did not agree with that at all. So he used to wash dishes and sweep at McDonald’s for Tk 1500 per month.
