Due to Corona, there are no examinations or recruitment for government jobs for two years, so the candidates demanded to increase the age limit for such government jobs by two years. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has given a positive response to this demand of the candidates, and Daldi is likely to take a big decision in this regard. Due to various reasons, the government recruitment process in Maharashtra has been stuck for the past four years. And due to Corona, Rajyaseva exam has been conducted only once in the last three years. Due to which the students who are preparing for government jobs have become over-aged, these students demanded from Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to increase the age limit by two years in Maharashtra as well as in other states. According to the information received from a Marathi web portal, it was learned that Chief Minister Eknath Shinde took this complaint of the students seriously and informed the concerned department. The state government had decided to increase the age limit in police recruitment by two years in November 2022. On the same background, students from other departments also demanded to increase the age limit. It is to be mentioned here that many states have increased the age limit for government jobs after Corona, in which Rajasthan has increased the age limit by 4 years, Madhya Pradesh and Odisha by 3 years, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Nagaland and Tripura by 2 years.
