Suicide attacks by women at weddings, funerals, hospitals, 18 dead.

Suspected female suicide bomber carries out multiple attacks in Nigeria’s Borno state.

Foreign news agencies reported that 18 people were killed and 30 were injured in attacks on weddings, funerals and hospitals in the city of Kwaza.

Officials confirmed that the dead included children, adults and a pregnant woman. But no group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

Boko Haram and the Islamic State splinter group are most active in West Africa’s Borno province.
