Suryakumar surpassed Babar Azam in T20 ranking IG News





Dubai – India’s star batsman Suryakumar Yadav has surpassed Pakistan captain Babar Azam in the T20 batting rankings. He has reached the third position. With this, he has taken another step towards becoming the world’s number 1 batsman. Suryakumar scored 46 runs in the opening match of the three-match series against Australia in Mohali on Tuesday. With this, he reached the third position in the ranking of T20 batsmen with 780 points.
Pakistan’s wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan is currently the number one T20 batsman in the world with 825 points. South Africa’s Aiden Markram is second with 792 points. Rizwan scored a half-century in Pakistan’s defeat at the hands of England in Karachi. After a poor performance in the Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates and a score of 31 against England in the first match of the series in Karachi, Babar has moved up to fourth in the new rankings, while England’s David Malan (725) and Australia Captain Aaron S (715) is in the top six.
