This road from Garhshankar to Nangal has turned bloody for the last 10 years due to the neglect of the government due to which precious lives are being lost and also there are dangerous turns at this place. Pilgrims going to Shree Khuralgarh Sahib on the occasion of Baisakhi are being victims of accidents on this road. 10 people have died in different road accidents in the last 24 hours.

Let us tell you that 3 people belonging to village Baudal district Ludhiana were killed and 3 people were injured due to the overturning of the tractor trolley of pilgrims going to Khuralgarh Sahib Matha Tekan on Wednesday morning near Garhi Mansowal. Late on Wednesday night, a truck ran over the pilgrims in which the occupants belong to Muzaffar Nagar UP. In this accident, 7 people died and 14 were injured.

In this way, within 24 hours, 10 people have died in a road accident, which has created an atmosphere of chaos in the area. Regarding the tragic incident of the road accident, where all the programs to be held in Shree Khuralgarh Sahib have been postponed, the Punjab government has announced a compensation of Rs 2-2 lakh to the families of the deceased and Rs 1-1 lakh to the injured.
