Devotees going to Sireghat from Thakurji’s Rewari on Devjhulani Ekadashi.

Devjhulani Ekadashi was celebrated with reverence in Pali city on Monday. Elephant-horse palanquin, raising slogans like Jai Kanhaiya Lal, Radhe-Krishna, Gopal-Krishna, people of many communities reached Sireghat for water walk carrying the statue of Thakur ji (Lord Shri Krishna). Where the tradition of bathing the idol of Thakurji in the pond was followed. During this time, women and children were seen coming out from under Rewari. So many people were seen offering fruits like bananas etc. at Rewari. It is believed that passing under Rewari reduces illness.

From around five in the evening, Rewariyas from different communities started arriving with musical instruments. A large number of city residents gathered to see it. After bathing the idol of Thakurji in Sireghat, the lake water was also worshiped. Here groups of women were seen singing bhajans and kirtans. Police force was also seen deployed here for security.

Idols behind Chadar Balaji temple immersed

On Monday, many devotees reached homes and pandals with musical instruments to immerse the idol of Lord Ganesha. He immersed the idols in the Lakhotiya pond behind the Chadarwala Balaji temple. It is believed that there is no rain after Devjhulani.
