The first phase of the cricketers’ conditioning camp has started
The first phase of conditioning camp has started at National High Performance Center of National Cricketers Lahore. Captain Babar Azam is not participating as he is abroad. In the introductory session on the first day of the camp, the coaches gave lectures. In the lectures, the batting coach of the national cricket team Muhammad Yousuf, bowling coach Shaun Tate and fielding coach Abdul Majeed explained the purpose of the camp to the players. Coach Omar Rashid also attended the introductory session and told the players about the importance of conditioning camp this season. Captain Babar Azam will join the camp on Friday due to overseas engagements and death of Zahid Mahmood’s mother. Players will participate in net sessions on the second day of the camp. It will continue till May in which 27 players have been invited.
