There has been a drastic change in the atmosphere in the state for the last two-three days, due to which the minimum temperature has risen. Rainy conditions were observed in different parts of the state on Saturday and Sunday, while it remained cloudy today on Monday. Clouds and dense fog covered most parts of the state, including Ahmedabad, creating hill station-like scenes till afternoon. Due to clouds and rainy conditions, the cold force has also reduced in the state for two days.
Ahmedabad city recorded a minimum temperature of 16 degrees today which was 3.1 degrees above normal. On the other hand, the maximum temperature was 27.7 degrees which was recorded 1.5 degrees below the normal. The city remained cool during the day as the maximum temperature dipped. The minimum temperature was recorded at 6.8 degrees today in Nalia of Kutch, while the temperature was recorded at 14.3 degrees in the capital Gandhinagar.
