Karachi: Former IG Sindh AD Khawaja sent a legal notice to former police officer Rao Anwar seeking Rs 5 crore in damages.
Former IG Sindh and current Commandant National Police Academy Islamabad AD Khawaja sent a legal notice to former SSP District Malir Rao Anwar seeking Rs 5 crore in damages, giving him 14 days to explain the charges against him. ۔
When contacted, AD Khawaja said that Rao Anwar had made false, baseless and fabricated allegations against me in a program of a private TV channel while he had also used insulting words about me.
“My reputation has been damaged due to the false allegations leveled by Rao Anwar and my family is also facing dangers from these allegations,” he said. The legal notice sent by AD Khawaja said that Rao Anwar should immediately apologize and refrain from making such allegations in future.
