Bilaspur. After seven months, the Sakri police arrested a runaway youth accused of robbery. During the interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime. The police team ordered his detention on Tuesday.

Kehar Singh Kurre, a resident of Parsada village, reported the crime that he was returning home to Parsada from Bilaspur on a motorcycle with his wife on June 14, 2023. At 12:30 in the night, four strangers riding two motorcycles stopped her near Housing Board Colony Parsada and assaulted her. They also stole Rs 25,000 in cash, an Aadhaar card and a mobile phone and fled. The police registered the crime of robbery in the case and were looking for the robber. Police have arrested accused Yashwant alias Lachhi Lohar, Deepak alias PP Yadav and two minors in the case and sent them to judicial custody. The mashruka looted by the accused was returned. The accused Manoj Suryavanshi was absconding after the incident. The police were busy searching. Police received information on Tuesday that accused Manoj Suryavanshi alias Ustad was present at Battalion Road Sakri residence. According to information, a police team surrounded and arrested the accused Manoj.

The two teenagers who robbed the trailer driver were caught

On January 30, Sheikh Dawood Mohammed’s father Sheikhraj Mohammed (38) was carrying Baloda along with his helper after loading coal from the Pali Coal Mine into the trailer. Meanwhile, at 10 o’clock in the night at the false bridge, two youths came in front of the vehicle and forcibly stopped the trailer, after which one youth threatened to kill him with a sword, looted Rs 2,500 cash and fled. In this case, the Ratanpur police registered a crime and questioned the accused Raja Kumar Saunra alias Raja (20), a resident of Jali, and Rahul Suryavanshi (20), a resident of Belpan. Both accused youths confessed to the crime. They seized 1,500 euros worth of cash from him. In the case, the police ordered the detention of both accused.
