Karimnagar – A petition has been handed over to BC Welfare Civil Supplies Minister Varyulu Gangula Kamalkar at Karimnagar Mee Seva office seeking to make home guards working in Telangana state permanent employees.
In the petition, the Home Guards stated that Telangana Chief Minister KCR promised to make the Home Guards constables in many cases.. We are performing the same job responsibilities as the constables and requested that we also get life insurance, health security, job security and retirement benefits from the government. It is explained in the petition that the Home Guard is not having any of these and that they are facing financial difficulties after retirement.

Responding positively to this, Minister Gangula promised to take it to the notice of Chief Minister KCR. The minister expressed hope that CM KCR will think about everything from a humane perspective, recognize the services of the home guards and give good news to them soon.
