All regions across the country continue to experience extreme heat, but in some areas, the heat has eased slightly due to rain.
Rain fell in several cities, including parts of Islamabad, yesterday, with the meteorological department indicating a possibility of monsoon winds entering the upper part of the country from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal.

The meteorological department said that rains will occur in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Kashmir from today until July 7.
On the other hand, 11 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been declared as the most vulnerable areas for monsoon floods. The PDMA has issued a moderate flood alert in 14 districts.

PDMA has instructed relevant institutions to inform the public about their approach to dealing with the flood situation.
