New Delhi (Daily Pakistan Online) In terms of air pollution, the Indian capital New Delhi today was found to be the most polluted city in the world, Pakistan’s city is second in the list while Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka is third.

In the list of the world’s most polluted cities, the Indian city of Calcutta is fourth, the Chinese city of Wuhan fifth, Chongqing sixth, Chengdu seventh, the Vietnamese city of Hanoi eighth, the Kathmandu city of Nepal ninth and the Pakistani city of Karachi tenth.

According to the Punjab Environment Protection Department, the air quality index at Town Hall in Lahore was 303, 201 in Township Sector Two and 297 at National Hockey Stadium Lahore.

Air quality index 176 was recorded in Faisalabad and 166 in Rahim Yar Khan.

According to the Department of Environmental Protection, all this data is compiled on a 24-hour basis.
