Puber Kalam Webdesk: President Draupadi Murmu will address the 31st Foundation Day of National Commission for Women on Tuesday.
The Union Ministry of Women and Child Development said on Monday that a two-day event has been organized to mark the foundation day of the National Commission for Women. The theme of the program is ‘Empowering Women, Empowering India’. It aims to honor the achievements of women who have excelled in their life journeys. Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani and State Minister Dr. Munjpara Mahendrabhai will be present on the occasion.
The second day of the event will feature panel discussions on eminent women who have led the way to inspire and empower many. Through these discussions, the commission aims to exchange diverse views focusing on gender equality in decision-making and leadership roles of women from different socio-economic contexts.
