Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said the budget will provide assistance to salaried workers, pensioners and workers.
Speaking during a meeting with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb on the occasion, the Prime Minister expressed his congratulations on the Finance Minister’s approval of the People-Friendly Budget 2024-2025 and praised the efforts of officials of all relevant ministries in organizing it. The Prime Minister said that the government, coalition members and opposition parties fully participated in the budget session and hoped that the budget would help in the development and prosperity of Pakistan.
He said he would try to provide relief to the common people using available resources. In the budget, special attention was paid to the development of health, education, agriculture and IT.
