The Sindh Chief Minister has raised the issue of undeclared load shedding before the federal energy minister.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah meets with Federal Energy Minister Owais Leghari in Karachi.

In the meeting, the Sindh Chief Minister raised the issue of elimination of undeclared burden across Sindh, including Karachi.

The Sindh Chief Minister expressed dissatisfaction with the functioning of HESCO and SEPCO under the Ministry of Electricity and said that the poor were concerned about load shedding. They cannot leave them with the incompetence of HESCO and SEPCO.

At the meeting, the federal energy minister raised the issue of line loss and non-payment.

Murad Ali Shah said the provincial government is ready to provide all possible assistance to the federal government. Committees will be established at the provincial and district levels.

It was agreed between both sides that the committee would help resolve the issues of WAPDA and consumers.

Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon and Provincial Energy Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah were also present at the meeting.
