The waterlogging caused by the ongoing rains in Delhi till Friday morning has increased the problems of the people. On Friday, due to the traffic jam on the roads of Delhi, the speed of vehicles slowed down. According to Delhi Traffic Police, Hanuman Mandir Carriageway near Hanuman Setu on Shanti Van, Libaspur Underpass, Maharani Bagh Taimur Nagar Cut, CDR Chowk, Mehrauli to Gurugram, Andheria Mode to Vasant Kunj, Below Nizamuddin Bridge, Near Singhu Border Petrol Pump And waterlogging was reported near MB Road Sainik Farm Carriageway. Police have advised commuters to avoid all these parts.

The India Meteorological Department has predicted moderately cloudy sky with moderate rain and thundershowers in almost all areas of the city on Friday. Even Indigo Airlines has advised its passengers to keep enough time during their travel to the Delhi airport as there are reports of waterlogging from many parts of the city.

On Thursday, the administration in Gurugram and Noida issued some advisories in their respective areas in view of the weather conditions.

The Gurugram administration has issued an advisory to private institutions and corporate offices to ask their employees to work from home to avoid traffic congestion on the roads. All government and private schools in Noida up to class VIII will remain closed as several roads in the city have been submerged due to incessant rains.
