Truck fell 20 feet deep below the highway
- Police arrived on time and saved lives
In Gwalior, a speeding truck driver suddenly blinked and fell 20 feet off the highway in a moment. Luckily the driver’s life was saved in the incident.
The incident took place on Monday morning near Kheria village of Maharajpura. The police arrived on time and took the driver out of the truck and took him to the hospital. At present the truck driver is out of danger. Police have seized the truck and started investigating the case.
Rishikesh Gurjar, resident of Morena, is a truck driver. Currently he is driving Sunil Kansana’s truck number RJ11 GB-4142. Devendra Gurjar, resident of Bharoli Dholpur, lives with him as a helper. On Monday morning, both of them left for Etawah after filling the truck with black sand coming out of the ballast mine. The driver had just reached the culvert near Kheria Mirda of Maharajpura when the driver Rishikesh dozed off. The speed of the truck was high and in a blink of an eye the truck left the highway and overturned at a depth of about 20 feet. As soon as the incident was known, the police reached the spot and started relief work.
Drivers helped
As soon as the incident was known, Santosh Rajput, Mohan Hindolia and pilot Uday Tomar posted on FRV 17 reached the spot and with the help of the passing drivers, took out the injured and admitted them for treatment. His life was saved due to timely help and he is now out of danger.
