Thieves stole two lakh rupees and gold and silver by breaking the locks of the abandoned house of a teacher and a nurse in broad daylight on Monday in Meghnagar under Chaupasni Housing Board police station. Four thieves have been seen in the CCTV footage. Who committed the crime after the raid.
Teacher Jogendra Kaushal, resident of Meghnagar, told that he had gone to the government school for duty in the morning. The nurse wife had also left for Mathuradas Mathur Hospital. There was no one in the house. When the teacher returned home in the afternoon, he found the lock of the main gate broken. Items were scattered inside. The thieves broke the locks of the wooden shelves and stole two lakh rupees, three and a half tola gold jewelery and three hundred grams of silver jewellery. As soon as the incident came to light, people from the neighborhood gathered. The police were informed, but after a long time, the police arrived at the spot, inspected the spot and started investigation. FIR has been lodged on behalf of the teacher. The act of thieves has been captured in the CCTV footage installed on the house in front. On that basis the police are making efforts to search.
The thieves made away with the theft in 11-12 minutes.
Neighbor Dr. Rohit Mathur says that since the house was deserted, the thieves had done the raid earlier. Two thieves dressed in black came near the house at 11.15 in the morning. Just a minute later, after gesturing to each other, they entered the house. After about 11-12 minutes, the thieves stole jewelery and money and came out. His two friends were doing recce outside. The thieves who had entered the house came out after receiving a call from a young man doing racket. Then everyone ran away.
