How to avoid infection, who is more at risk?

The Union Health Department has said that the state surveillance authorities are fully prepared to meet this public health challenge. People need not panic. The ministry said that this infection can be avoided by following the Kovid vigilance rules. Youth, children and the elderly with co-morbidities are most at risk, in such a situation they need to be careful.

This year more than one million people were affected by flu

More than 10 lakh people have been affected by acute respiratory illness/influenza (ARI/ILI) in the country this year. Talking about the month of January, 3,97,814 people were infected in this month and 4,36,523 in the month of February and 1,33,412 in the first week of March. 7041 patients had to be admitted in January, 6919 in February and 1866 till March 9.
