Kolkata, Aug 27 (PTI) Three people were killed and several others injured in an explosion at a firecracker factory in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district on Sunday morning. Police gave this information.
Police said the explosion took place around 10 am when several people were working at a firecracker factory in Moshpole area of ​​Neelganj under Duttapukur police station area, about 30 km north of Kolkata.
A police officer said, ‘So far three bodies have been found. Many people have been injured in the blast.
He said that the injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital.
In May, 12 people were killed in a similar explosion at an illegal firecracker factory in Egra in East Medinipur district.
