Truro man killed in Manitoba highway accident IG News

A Nova Scotia man driving a semi-truck in Manitoba was killed in a head-on collision on Wednesday.

RCMP in The Pass, Man., were called just after midnight to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 10, south of town.

The force says a semi traveling south crossed the center line and crashed into a semi traveling north.

The person in the first truck, a 59-year-old man from Truro, NS, died at the scene. The other driver, a 22-year-old man from Saskatchewan, was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

RCMP and a forensic collision reconstructor are investigating.
