UK and France sign £479m deal at Paris summit to stop migrants

A summit was held in Paris to stop illegal immigrants coming to Europe. Britain and France signed a £479 million deal to stop the boats.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sonak and French President Emmanuel Macron addressed a joint press conference on this occasion.

According to media reports, a new detention center will be built to remove migrants from France’s coastal areas.

The media report further stated that hundreds of highly trained new enforcement officers will be deployed on the coasts. A permanent mobile policing unit will be established to intercept small boats.

According to media reports, help will be taken from drones, planes, patrols and surveillance technology to keep an eye on the coasts.

According to media reports, Britain will give France 479 million pounds over the next three years. Last year, 45,000 people arrived in Britain by small boats from France.

On the other hand, the leader of the British Labor Party, Sarkier Starmer, says that without an agreement on the return of refugees from France, the situation will get worse.
