Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya participated in the Gram Chaupal organized in Godwa village of Sohawal block of Ayodhya. He listened to the problems of the villagers and gave important directions to the officials. On this occasion, he said that the government is going to the door of the public through the village chaupals. The problem of the village is being solved in the village itself. The village is a government dedicated to the welfare of the poor. Let this message go to the village chaupals that the government is solving their problems by going to the doorsteps of the people.

The Deputy Chief Minister has given instructions that the village chaupale should be result oriented. Instructions have also been given that apart from the employees doing good work in the village chaupals, one eminent person from each ward should also be honoured. All Block Development Officers should invite local public representatives to the village chaupals. The Deputy Chief Minister has given instructions that the village chaupals should be widely publicised. Feedback of village chaupals should be taken. Regularly review the concerned CDO village chaupals.

He comprehensively explained to the villagers present about the schemes being run by the Rural Development Department, National Rural Livelihood Mission, Prime Minister and Chief Minister Housing Scheme, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme and to solve the problems of the people of the village. Directed the officers and encouraged the people present there to increase employment, as well as informed the people present about the construction of the grand Ram temple to be built in Ayodhya. Sanction letter of Chief Minister’s residence was distributed to two beneficiaries of Chief Minister’s residence of village Godwa, Rinku s/o Baijnath and Ajit s/o Baijnath. After this, the Deputy Chief Minister discussed local issues with public representatives near Lata Mangeshkar Chowk located in Ayodhya Dham and visited various temples of Ayodhya.
