Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led state government has learned that more than 10,000 encounters have been conducted in the state in the last six years. Among the encounters that have taken place across the state of Uttar Pradesh, most of the encounters have taken place in the Meerut zone. A total of 3,152 encounters were conducted by the police in this sector.
