Uzbek President calls PM Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan received a telephone call from Uzbek President Shaukat Marzi, who accepted the invitation of the Prime Minister to visit Pakistan.
According to details, a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office said that Prime Minister Imran Khan received a telephone call from President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Marzi and the two discussed bilateral relations.
Prime Minister Imran Khan stressed on the importance of utilizing full capabilities in various fields.
The Prime Minister stressed the need to enhance bilateral economic relations and reiterated his firm commitment to the timely completion of the Trans-Afghan Railway project, the statement said.
The Uzbek president also accepted the prime minister’s invitation to visit Pakistan.
According to the statement, the Uzbek president’s visit will further boost economic and trade relations and bilateral cooperation.
