Today is a historic day for Varanasi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of a Rs 1800 crore project in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi, along with which he inaugurated the country’s first rope-way public transport. PM Modi today gifted 28 development projects to the people of Kashi. Along with this, he also inaugurated 19 projects.
Automatic stairs, ropeway stations will be equipped with all facilities. It will become a medium of trade for Kashi. The inauguration of the Mabatpur air base took place. A new airport will be developed with nine ATC towers from today. Benares lame mangoes, vegetables grown in small villages reached foreign countries and this benefited the farmers.
The distance between Banaras Cantt and Vishwanath Corridor will be reduced in few minutes. People want to go to Banaras, but due to jam they cannot go. Such people will also benefit a lot from this ropeway. This is not just a movement project. There will also be food and beverage and shopping facilities at the ropeway station. This will make it another center of business and employment.
Foundation stone of new ATC tower at Banaras Airport has been laid. Due to which it will be easier to expand the airport in future. The work being done in Kashi under the Smart City Mission will also enhance the facilities. Here the work is being done keeping in mind the minor needs of devotees and tourists.
