NCC ADG Vivek Tyagi met Vice Chancellor of Jadavpur University

Major General Vivek Tyagi, ADG, NCC Directorate, West Bengal and Sikkim visited Jadavpur University on Tuesday and met Dr. Buddhadeb Sao, Acting Vice Chancellor. During this, he discussed various issues related to the ongoing training of cadets and NCC functioning in the university.
The ADG earlier interacted with NCC cadets of Air and Army wings of four NCC units located in Jadavpur University campus. Also reviewed the infrastructure as well as training of trainers efforts. The cadets displayed their excellent standards and passion to bring about a positive change in support of nation building.
The Acting Vice-Chancellor appreciated the work of the NCC units over the past several decades in shaping the youth of the University and discussed ways to increase the reach among the students. He also assured due support to the long pending requests of NCC Directorate to upgrade the infrastructure provided to NCC in the University.
