The Border Security Force (BSF) got a big success on the Bangladesh border in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. Gold biscuits worth Rs 3.12 crore have been recovered from a truck here.
Got two packets of gold biscuits
During the search of the truck at Petrapole post on Saturday, personnel of BSF’s 145 battalion found two packets of gold biscuits hidden in different parts of the truck, officials said on Sunday.
Truck driver also arrested
He told that the truck entering India from Bangladesh was empty. However, when searched, a total of 45 gold biscuits weighing 5.24 kg were found from the truck. BSF recovered them. Along with this, the truck driver has also been arrested.
