In Krishnagiri district Hosur office, it has been found that the registration was done with forged documents, which has caused a shock. The registrar has filed a complaint with the police saying that action should be taken in this regard.
Hosur Corporation is now a fast growing industrial city with upgraded status. The real estate industry is doing very well in this already industrial area. Small to large industrial companies are operating here with an investment of several crores of rupees to establish production facilities and provide employment opportunities to thousands. Due to this, many people from many parts of India come to this area for business purposes. Those who come here are buying land and setting up houses, businesses etc. to stay in this area.
As buying and selling of land is taking place in Hosur areas in abundance, the sub registrar’s office here is always crowded. Therefore, the registrar’s office is also providing tokens for proper registration. In this context, it has already been said that registrations are being carried out by submitting fake certificates and documents by throwing dust in the eyes of the Registrar of Deeds.
In this situation, Rakothaman, who is currently working as a sub-registrar, checked some documents that came to him for registration on suspicion. On examination it has been confirmed that the original documents were completely forged and submitted as genuine documents. It has also been found that the registration was done with completely false information on the signature and details of the person making the registration. It has also been revealed that the seal of the Registrar’s office, the seal with the Tamil Nadu government emblem, etc., were made as original prints and fake documents were submitted through that.
It has also been found that income certificate, caste certificate etc. issued by District Collector has been prepared and submitted as fake. As a result, the sub-registrar is constantly forced to ascertain the authenticity of the documents, so there has been an extension in the time frames for registration of deeds. Also, the registration of deeds has been affected due to the fact that the registrar’s office has to carry out the work of verifying the original documents. Above all this, the shocking thing is that people have been severely deceived.
Following this, a formal complaint has been lodged with the police on behalf of the sub-registrar regarding the documents in about 4 records, saying that they should find out about such fake documents and take appropriate action with the data of submission of such fake documents. The police received the complaint and are investigating the matter.
There is already a lot of public crowd as the time limit for deed registration is not enough. In this situation, the registrars who say that further delay is caused by the actions taken to resolve the doubts of the registration officials about the authenticity of the original deed and the authenticity of the documents, etc. They think they will get out of trouble.
