The festival of Jaljhulani Ekadashi was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Pratapgarh. On Monday, more than 150 wrestlers from 7 akharas performed stunts at the headquarters. Behind the arena, the Bevans of the Lord emerged with attractive decorations of lights. Which reached Deepeshwari pond of the city late in the evening at 7 pm.
Bevan will conclude after Maha Aarti. Wrestlers showed stunts for 2 hours at Gandhi Square in the city. Where small children and girls also participated.
Malkham feat, Jhula feat center of attraction
Wrestlers from different gymnasiums have attracted people by showing the art of Malkham and Jhula juggling at Gandhi Square in the city. Female wrestlers were also included in the stunts displayed by various gymnasiums. At the same time, the youth also attracted people by showing different tricks.
Hundreds of wrestlers from Omkareshwar, Bajrang Dal, Krishna Vyayam Shala, Nagraj, Nageshwar Vyayam of the city showed one feat one after the other with the beat of drums on the main roads.
Public representatives and business people welcomed the wrestlers by showering flowers and tying headdresses. People also showered flowers on the idol of Lord Shiva coming out in the city. During this period, the Akhara tour continued in the city till 7:00 pm. For security reasons, police personnel were also deployed on the main road of the city.
