Lucknow: Yogi government has started developing industrial areas in the form of clusters in the state. In this sequence, Yogi government is setting up Apparel Park Cluster in Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YIDA). This is the first industrial cluster established by Yamuna Expressway Authority. There is tremendous enthusiasm among entrepreneurs for setting up their industries in this cluster.

Its example is that despite allotment of plots, more than 70 industrial units are still demanding plots for textile cluster in Yamuna Expressway Authority. It is noteworthy that this Apparel Park Cluster has been established in Sector 29, whose total area is 175 acres. There are a total of 89 plots out of which 81 plots have been allotted and lease plan and check list of 64 plots have been issued. Of these, physical possession letters on 39 plots have also been distributed to the allottees. Because of this Apparel Park, Gautam Buddha Nagar is also known as City of Apparel.

Apparel park being connected to Delhi-Noida Expressway

Convention centre, exhibition center or dedicated cargo will be established within the industrial area of ​​the authority. Dedicated cargo will be developed at the under construction Noida International Airport in Jewar. At present, the textile industry has the highest share in cargo at about 37%. Cargo from Jewar will be cheaper than Delhi because here only 1% VAT is being imposed on fuel by the government.

According to the CEO of the authority, Arunveer Singh, work has been started by NHAI to connect this apparel park of the authority near Ballabhgarh with the Delhi-Noida Expressway. The study of Rapid Rail NCRTC has also been started in the authority area. The country’s first and the world’s sixth pod taxi system will be built in this area, for which an international tender has also been issued by the authority. Also, all the best companies of the world participated in the pre-bid meeting of PRT System.

Land will be provided free of cost for skill development center

To promote industries, the Authority has taken a decision to increase the FAR given on industrial plots in Yamuna Authority area from 1.5 to 2.0, which is likely to get approval from the government level soon. Besides, it has also been decided to increase the ground coverage in industrial plots to 60%. The CEO has requested the industrialists inside and outside the state to provide employment to the local youth in their industries and to establish skill development centers to provide employment. If land is required for this, the authority is ready to provide the land free of cost.
